These
distinctive double hung, accent
windows and shutters are hand crafted in North Carolina,
Bob Timberlake's native state. Each
window is made with meticulous care on an order by order basis.
All glass is insulated with a 5 year warranty
against seal failure. The windows are fabricated from Spanish
Cedar.
 This
is a very rot resistant wood derived from the mahogany family native to
South America. These windows were first conceived in 1996 in a collaborative effort by renowned home
designer, Stephen Fuller and artist Bob Timberlake. The windows
capture ones imagination unlike any traditional window product of our modern
era. The subtle arch in the bottom sash blend into the site line of
the upper sash with its
complimentary arch bottom profile and unique cloud lift.
 The
exterior trim is a wide rough sawn western red
cedar with a distinctively chamfered profile found throughout the Bob
Timberlake millwork product line. Seedy baroque glass is used in each of the four
corners of the upper sash. Windows can be specially equipped with
reinforcing hardware to achieve a design pressure rating of 47 which will
withstand water and air infiltration up to 110 mph. Windows can also
be ordered with Low-e (Low-emission) which improves the insulating
properties of the window.
